On Sept. 13th, SASAC Vice Chairman Huang Shuhe attended a panel discussion in the Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2012 held in Tianjin and commented on Chinese globalizers’s corporate citizenship practices. Huang made a brief introduction of CSR practices undertaken by central SOEs both inside and outside China, as well as their research and exploration in building an effective CSR management framework. He analyzed the challenges faced by central SOEs in global operation, corporate citizenship practices and CSR capacity building, and went further by pointing out the vital role of fulfilling social responsibilities to promoting national image, corporate competitiveness and quality.
